P1S1 – STD – CL1 – L1 – THEME – 3 – GREETINGS – STORIES

 

The traditional Hare and Tortoise story is maneuvered to “Greetings.”

 

Roles :

Toto  – Name of the Young Tortoise / Nick Name

Bunny – Name of the Young Rabbit / Nick Name

Kiki – Name of the squirrel (Kiki the Cyber Squirrel) / Nick Name

Foxy – Name of the Fox / Nick Name

 

What is Nick Name?

a familiar or humorous name given to a person or thing instead of or as well as the real name.

 

You can use either present or past tense for telling your stories. The present tense is often associated with literary fiction, short stories, students in writing programs and workshops, and first novels. The past tense is used in most genre novels.

 If you're writing a prose story, writing in the present tense creates the same effect of making the reader feel like they're experiencing the action of the story as it's happening. This helps the reader to feel more immersed in the story than if it was told in past tense by a single character.

STORY TELLING - PAST NARRATION

STORYTELLING SKILL DEVELOPMENT

(PAST, CONTINUOUS & PERFECT TENSE)

 

Toto and Bunny were meeting in the morning and greeted each other with GOOD MORNING”. They have decided to go for a race. The race has started. Bunny ran fast and found that  Toto was not seen and decided to take a nap.

However, Toto was walking slowly. During the walk, he met Kiki and they introduced themselves.

Kiki introduced Foxy to Toto.

Foxy and Kiki have also joined Toto and started walking. In the afternoon, on the way, they saw that Bunny was sleeping. Toto introduced Kiki and Foxy to Bunny. They even greeted Bunny, GOOD AFTERNOON. But did not find any response from Bunny.

In the meantime, Toto started walking towards the finishing pole and reached it.

All of a sudden, Bunny woke up. He ran fast toward the finishing pole and saw that Toto has already reached the goal. Toto was greeting Bunny, GOOD EVENING.  Bunny too greeted back.

After that, all greeted each other with GOODBYE and dispersed.

In the meantime, Toto starts walking towards the finishing pole and reaches it.

All of a sudden, Bunny wakes up and runs fast toward the finishing pole. But he sees that Toto has already reached it. Toto is Greeting Bunny, GOOD EVENING.  Bunny too greets back.

After that, all are greeting each other with GOODBYE and disperse.

 

Trivia:

Turtle shells are more streamlined to aid in swimming. One major difference is that tortoises spend most of their time on land and turtles are adapted for life in water.
